The Catholics for Truth and Reconciliation official campaign is now closed, but the Bishops of Canada have announced new efforts to raise money for healing and reconciliation efforts in addition to their recent collective apology to the Indigenous Peoples in Canada. More details regarding the financial campaign will be given by the Bishops by November, and as additional diocesan fundraising efforts begin, they will be posted here. You are still encouraged to visit the Act and Learn sections of this website and to offer your personal commitment to reconciliation.
Current Bishop-led InitiativesThe three organizations below were selected as campaign because they are national in scope, Indigenous-led organizations that are working in three different areas related to Truth and Reconciliation and the Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report. Although the Catholics for Truth and Reconciliation Campaign is now closed, you are still welcome to make a personal donation to any of these organizations or another of your choosing. We encourage you to consider donating to fundraising efforts offered by your diocese as well.
